Last 30th June, had a big turn-out from fellow riders to raise funds for needy children in my working place. We didn't do any rides but having our beloved "iron horses' parked for photo-taking and each photograph, we charged $5.00. At the end of the day, we managed to raise a few hundred $$$ ! (not bad for a primary school and located in the HDB heartland).I wish to place on records my sincere appreciations to the following riders:
Jimmy Ho, Jess Ley, Philip Seow, Agnes, Goh Johan, Patrick Foo, Billy, Chris & Kim, Fei & partner, Ali Barshad, Melvyn D'Oliveiro and most heartening to HDS Richard Park, Omar, Kim and colleague who so kindly volunteered their time and bikes for the occasion.
We're not only riders looking for fun, we are fund-raisers too, we know how to enjoy and we know how others need us too. Thank you all and GOD bless.
